What I did notice missing is the application of the social structure. Getting backlinks (especially one-way) from the &quot;upper caste sites&quot; so to speak should play a factor in the rankings, and so should the &quot;who you know&quot; factor.

I would suggest trying to hobnob (be friendly with, talk to, chat with, communicate) with the &quot;elite&quot; in the baidu chain - at least online - and see if you can get any help there.

Find out what it takes to serve the Chinese people the best according to the Government, and use those standards as a guideline.

Other than that, I think you did a really good job on your blog post.
