What’t the best way to get search engine statistics on what people are searching for?

I have two websites I’m trying to market and sell ad space on. Where can I find statistics showing me how many people are searching for specific categories on Google, Yahoo, etc.? For example: Where do I find the number of people searching for Nashville Restaurants each day on search engines?

I have a local dining guide and a local internet coupon website. I’m trying to collect stats to take to potential advertisers?

    If you want statistics on exact keywords, the use the AdWords Keyword Tool. It had a major update recently and it’s killing it!
