Where to do I search/post for an aircraft partnership?

Filed under : local search marketing

I’m looking to purchase an aircraft and am slightly interested in a possible partnership deal. I fully understand there is a lot to research before entering one, this is just preliminary. What are some recommended websites or other means to search other people interested in partnerships or post my own ad? I want to get an idea what kind of market is out there for partnerships and how long it would take to seek out a partner.

I live in a Chicago suburb if that helps pinpoint some local resources. Thanks for the help!

Advertise on bulletin boards at local airports. Place an ad on http://www.barnstormers.com or http://www.trade-a-plane.com . Put an ad in the aircraft classifieds section of the Tribune or the Herald. Join a local chapter of the EAA or join one of the several flying clubs in the Chicago area and get to know some people. Here are 3

Be sure to research the ramifications of a partnership and protect yourself with a good contract and adequate insurance. Partnerships can be great and they can be a nightmare.

Why not ask around at the local airports? That’s where the planes are, and that’s where the possible partners are.
