how do you become a google expert?

does anyone know of any college courses where you can learn about search engine optimisation and website marketing? i hae heard that as google is the way forward it might be a good idea to train as an expert but i cant find any courses, any ideas and colleges, i am based in cheshire – would even consider open university but cant find anything, if there are any professionals out there please help!!!

My husband works for Google. You could get a degree at any college in computer science or similar, be at the top of your class and have good references and recommendations, then get an interview with Google. That’s your best chance.

They don’t hire people who have not graduated from college.

    There are a lot of informational websites all about it that people have created through trial and error. My personal experience, you have to understand how google ranks pages, understand the method they use, algorithm. Start talking to other people doing the same thing that you are doing. For me, I was 10 hours deep a DAY researching google, adsense, adwords, page rank, seo.. and other marketing techniques. Check out my resource, lots of pertinent information
