Would you rather pay for answers from an "expert", or ask for free, and get answers from "real" people?
Google Answers, was like Yahoo Answers, but the biggest different was you had to actually pay to get answers from Google and supposedly the answers came from "experts". But Yahoo Answers has done way better than Google Answers, so Google has shut down Google Answers.

"While Google’s product made questioners pay experts for quality responses, Yahoo! Answers, launched in December 2005, is free. Yahoo!’s product gets 24 times more traffic than Google Answers, according to research firm Hitwise. Yahoo! also integrates answers to user-generated questions into results in its search engine, and has solicited questions from celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and physicist Stephen Hawking."

With Google Answers you had to PAY to get answers, but we can ask questions and get answers free here. Would you rather pay for answers from "experts" or get answers from real people?

The questions I have asked have been more along the lines of "what would you do/have done in this situation?" type questions. I would only ask that for free.
Basically, if I felt the need to get an expert answer for something, and I was going to pay, I would go to see a person in that profession myself and pay that way. If it’s that important to have an expert answer I would take that step.

But you have to balance it off between all the answers you get. So it kinda runs hit and miss
